Hi, you're bidding on an immaculate 1998 Porsche Boxster in Silver with Red leather interior and 5 spd manual transmission. It's standing at 60,707 miles and is not currently being driven. It was my father's car, he's the second owner and has owned it since September of 2003, when he bought it from Rusnak Porsche in Westlake Village, CA. -Garage kept for the length of ownership. Non-smoking home.-California owned: no rust, salt damage, or seasonal wear of any kind.-New top and rear window.-18" Carrera 5 Spoke wheels with no curb rash or wear whatsoever. (Purchased new in Sept. 2003 from Rusnak)-Xenon headlamp kit. (Purchased new in Sept. 2003 from Rusnak)-Sport exhaust kit. (Purchased new in Sept. 2003 from Rusnak)-All service records on file at Porsche of Santa Barbara.-CD changer.-power lean on drivers seat.-Recent service, including replacement of intermediate shaft bearing.-Tires near new.-No body damage.-Recent professional detailing, including: cleaning brakes, wheels (interior and rear side), engine and engine compartment, under-carriage, air vents, wheel-wells, front and rear trunks, all leather, plastics and carpets reconditioned, front facia and rocker panels repainted and detailed to clean up road chipping.-Bra and car cover included. In short, the car was owned by a (sort of) little old man from Santa Barbara and is in fantastic shape. It runs, drives and handles remarkably well. All lights, gauges, switches, horns, A/C, windows, keyless remote, trip computer functions, seats, locks are in perfect working order. The recent detailing to bring it up to showing condition has rendered the car flawless; I can't find any scratches, nicks or dings anywhere. In short, you're getting a dealership ready pre-owned vehicle without the dealership pricetag mark-up. Thanks, GeoffOn Sep-20-11 at 13:29:46 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: I have all the records of service from SB Porsche and have checked them to confirm that while the ImS flange and seal were replaced in recent service, the ISF bearing was not. When I spoke with the technician who performed the repair, he indicated that the Intermediate Shaft Bearing was in good working order and not in need of replacement. A complete list of services performed (dated July 20, 2011) are: Removed right Cam cover, replaced all oil tubes, O-rings, seals and gaskets; removed transmission and replaced rear main seal; replaced ImS flange, O-rings and seal.
