1966 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA! 318 V8 Up for aution is this super rare 1966 Plymouth Barracuda 2 door hard top sedan. This car is one of only 10, 645 ever produced! It features 318 cubic inch V8 motor (the car originally came with an 225 cubic inch in-line 6-cylinder motor), automatic transmission with a Hurst shifter, 8-3/4 rear end, front disc brakes (a factory option!), a rebuilt front end, rear drum brakes, early chrome Cragar 5-spoke 15" wheels all the way around, fold down rear bench seat, fold down trunk divider, front bucket seats, and all of the glass (including the rare wrap-around rear window) is in great shape with no chips or cracks. The car body appears to be mostly straight and rust free, with a few exceptions noted in the photos. The exterior is mostly complete, but missing a few pieces of exterior trim. The dash has been removed and modified to accomodate aftermarket gauges and a CD player, this is why the mileage is unknown. The power brake assist will need to be rebuilt. Basic car specs are as follows; it features a 106" wheelbase, 70.2" width, 53" height, independent tordion bar front suspension, longitudinal leaf spring rear suspension, 18 gallon gas tank, and 12 quart cooling system.
