Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous You've ALWAYS wanted one. Most perfect reliable affordable safest play car around. Toy? Daily driver? Both. Kelly Blue Book lists this car and it's options/miles in TRADE-IN condition as $7575 (kbb.com). I sold a 2002 model with 80k earlier this year (check my excellent feedbacks) for $8000. I have a receipt in the car from the LAST buyer totalling over $26,000 back in 2004!! This one is NO RESERVE! Clean paperwork in hand. Right year. Right miles. Can easily purchase an aftermarket warranty if desired. Plenty of fun season left....don't miss out! Front bumper and hood look great with only the typical rock chips and scuffs. No dents dings or damages. Seems to be the original paint even. No visible rust anywhere on the car. I've logged well over 300 miles on the car including a trip to Chicago and back. In fact, I've never received so many compliments from passer-bys as I did in this car driving with the top down thru the streets of downtown Chicago! Fun Fun. Most of the body panels are straight and smooth with only one eyesore (see below). Tires have plenty of life left in them on vibration free rims. Brakes/pads/calipers/rotors are nearly new strong and pulse-free. Suspension is quiet and tight, drives straight with no excessive pulling or wandering. Paint shines like the day it was new! Top is perfect with no cuts rips or repairs. Here you can see the eyesore....bout the size of a basketball....hence the NO RESERVE auction. Most likely can be popped out with minimal effort if you remove all the interior trunk panels and cell phone brain box. Naturally due to its size, it won't be a perfect popout. Definitely worth fixing. Rear bumper cover looks great as well. Only one lil scuff on the left lower corner. Again...no cracks or damages. Below I point out the only other noticeable ding....can barely count on one hand how many dings are in the car....outside the dent of course. You can eat off this engine compartment! Engine starts up and runs strong. No signs of any fluid or coolant leaks. It's the LT version but you'd never know it! Turbo pulls nicely! Yes you can run 87 octane. Volvos are smart, they adjust accordingly and unlike most eurocars, don't "require" 90+premium. But...if you run premium, you WILL notice a difference! 5speed automatic Transmission shifts perfectly. Battery is recent, if not new. I've done my inspection and timing belt is due to be changed. I am supplying a NEW TIMING BELT for you, you will only need to have it installed. Book time is 1.5 hours. If your "local mechanic" says it takes longer?? Find a new mechanic. I've taken my sweet time and have done them in 2hours. I simply don't have the time to perform it....again....NO RESERVE!!! Tops operates perfectly. Never binding or stopping. Smooth. Interior is easily a 8.5 out of 10 with minimal driver's bolster wear. Right front driver's lower leg area is drycracked. If you stare at pic below, you can see a puncture on armrest above rear speaker cover. Finally, for some silly reason, there are no sunvisors.....but.....it's a convertible....I've NEVER used em or needed em. Air Conditioning is ICE COLD. Everything in the interior works as it should. all power windows and locks. Roof. Dual climate control. Cruise. 3 disc in-dash CD Changer. AM/FM centerchannel radio. All great! As you get to the pics of the speedo cluster below, you'll notice ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup as they should with NONE being on during run. No worries. Factory "C70" stitched floormats and complete spare are included. Sorry, no books. Only one key and one keyfob are included. Even comes with the 2nd owner purchase paperwork....so you can gloat in the steal you just received!! Car has been thru Volvo all it's life, it seems. Recent Illinois emissions "PASS" card as well. Outside the obvious dent I have only 2 minor issues to mention...first...the left front wheel bearing has a small amount of "whirr" at lower speeds. Highway travel provides ZERO noise. But it will eventually need replacing. $40 on ebay for an aftermarket version. Second....at about 30mph, there is a tiny tiny wiggle in the steering wheel. I've seen this before on these cars. Upon researching, I've found the right front CV Halfshaft(longer one of the two) can become "out of balance". You probably won't even catch it, but Im anal about things and disclose EVERYTHING I know. About $70 for a reman one at any local parts store if you decide you can't live with it. No, it's NOT going to explode. It's a common flaw on the C/V/S70 series cars. Seriously....I'd drive this car ANYWHERE and have! Bid Buy Drive with 100% Confidence! I just put my own mother in a similar C70 with over 175k!!! She LOVES it! My personal 98 S70 T5 has 220k! This car is no different in reliabilty. Plenty of fun summers left....all for NO RESERVE!!
