MAKE / MODEL :1883 Mercedes Benz 380-SL MILEAGE : Unknown (Title says "exempt") Odometer has NOT worked since I’ve owned the car. OWNED SINCE: March 2008 PURCHASED FROM: Classic Car Auction in St. Petersburg, Florida This Car Has: Recently installed timing chain with tensioners. TIRES: Good Condition AIR CONDITIONER: Cold or Hot,. The intermediate range is not working. CONVERTIBLE TOP: Does not leak! (Had a small treebranch hit the top which resulted in a small cut. The patch works fine and sealed the cut. HARD TOP: In great shape and comes equipped with an electric defogger in the rear window.! TRANSMISSION: Smooth and shifts just fine. INTERIOR: Rebuilt Vinyl seats in 2010, remainder in great shape. Missing a couple of chrome (Plastic) covers. RADIO: Nice stereo with two speakers and a 10 CD changer in trunk. Works great! WHEELS: Chrome wheels off of a latermodel Mercedes in great shape. Also have the original aluminum wheels ( rims), Chrome accepts a 15" tire, Aluminum are 14 inch. GAUGES: Original clock in dash keeps perfect time. Everything else works perfectly with the exception of the odometer. REASON FOR SELLING: I seldom drive the car, and I am losing my parking garage for it. I will include the cover it you want it.
