Options Include: Power Windows, Cruise Control, A/C with climate control, Factory Rally Wheels with new chrome trim rings, fully welded dual exhaust, no radio. My Jimmy is nearly restored, exceptionally clean and always garaged kept!!!!! Like New! Auction DetailsThis GMC Jimmy is my baby! I purchased her with the intent on a full restoration and have pretty much accomplished it. I have had all body work repaired - some sheet metal replaced - new paint job, new carpet, new interior, new trim, new weather stripping, new window felt, new headliner, new top dash pad, new bumpers front/back, new bumper rear trim, new side molding trim, new chrome wheel lips, new stainless vent visors, new window tinting 20%, newly painted top (even though its not on and I hardly put it on) new interior trim (most), new front windshield, new headlights/taillights, new exhaust, new suspension, new rims/tires etc etc etc done to this vehicle (see below for more details)When purchased there was some rust in the corner of the floor/rocker area, the front left fender and the hood was wrinked where the hinges were located (common problem). I replaced these areas with new sheet metal from Long Motor Company (LMC). I had the entire body stripped to the metal and all the bodywork completed by a professional shop in Nashville TN. The Jimmy was put in etching primer, more bodywork completed, put in 2k primer, blocked, put in 2k primer, blocked again, put in 2k primer and wetsanded, sealed and painted with Dupont Chromabase Chroma Premier basecoat / clearcoat 2008 Corvette Silver. While the bodywork was being completed I was working on smaller items like a new heater core, new shocks, new bushings, new shackle bushings, new u-joints, new body mounts, new window regulators and motors, new locks, new brakes, new plugs, new plug wires, new distributor, new power steering gear box, new tie rods and ball joints, tune up, etc etc. If it needed it I did it. The previous owner also had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt professionally and spent over $3400 (I have the receipt). The previous owner wasnt sure when the motor was rebuilt but stated he was told it was when he purchased it in 2008. The Jimmy ran (and still runs) perfect and I couldnt ask for anything better so I didnt mess with it other than the tune up and other new engine parts listed.Other items that should be noted is that the Ralley rims have been sandblasted and powdercoated an argent silver as well as the valve covers and air breather underhood. The inside engine compartment and firewall/and undercarriage has been painted and/or undercoated. It has new BF Goodrich 33" All Terrain T/A tires that are brand new on it (33x12.50R15). It has two new Flowmaster super 50's mufflers (deep throaty exhaust) and two new high flow catalytic converters along with new muffler plumbing and all seams have been welded). One thing I have noticed is that the Jimmy will smoke two white puffs on start up after its been sitting for three days. Once it does it there wont be any other time it smokes on start up until its been sitting for an extended period of time. The Jimmy has not been driven for a long extended period of time until recently and my mechanic thinks the valve seals have dried out allowing some oil to pass through and smoke off at start up. He says that after driving it the seals swell back up and do not allow any oil to pass thats why it doesnt do it while its being driven or after I turn it off/on while driving it regularly. He said that I would need to drive it solid for a few weeks to see if they swell up and stay good before decided to replace them, but the Jimmy isnt my everyday driver and stays in the garage except for the occasional cool nights I run around with the top off and the two quick white puffs hasnt bothered me yet. He said to fix this I could have a head job done and have new seals installed ($300-$400 expense).Another thing that I have noticed is that the passenger side window is slow to run up all the way once it gets four or so inches from the top. I have replaced the power window motor and regulator (both sides), but it is still slow. My interior man says it is because new window seals/felt/strips were put in and its still tight. I also havent greased the tracks yet so this might take care of the problem. It hasnt bothered me because I keep the windows down and top off and keep it in my garage until driven. The Jimmy does have factory A/C and everything blows on the different switch settings but it doesnt blow hard or blow cold. I have the Jimmy at my mechanics shop now for him to look into the problem but it is not a priority for him so it may or may not get finished/repaired before the end of auction. I would bid on it as if it didnt get fixed. The top surface where the removable top meets the body has some knicks in the paint, but I am having it rhino lined this coming week before the auction ends. Basically I am going to rhino line only the top lip edge where the top meets (I will take pictures and post once its completed). Other than that the body is in very near perfect shape (I would say perfect but someone might find a very small scratch and claim I was trying to be false).I noticed today that there are two small cracks in the "plastic chrome" around the front grill trim, I would purchase a new one if I was going to keep it but for now I will let it go as is.There is a lot of other things I am sure I have forgotten to mention but ask and I can answer. I am trying to be very detailed in my description and want to keep my good 100% rating. I have been one of those persons who has driven over 1000 miles only to find out that the ebay listing on a car I was purchasing was a total joke and not even close to what was advsertised or listed. I dont want that to happen to anyone else. I am also posting a lot of pictures (some before/some after - pictures of it black are before), but you can email me and I can send many more or take a picture of the exact item you want to look at. I am selling it locally and will sell if the auction hasnt reached the reserve. Once the auction reaches the reserve I will not sell locally and let it continue through the auction. Feel free to come by and take a look at the Jimmy or drive it if you are in the Nashville area. Please no bidders with a low number of bids and only bid if you are serious. The Jimmy is being sold as is, Thank you! Thanks for your time!
