Normal 0 You are bidding on a 1984 Chevrolet C10 pickup with a 6.2 diesel engine and 700R4 Transmission. Engine and transmission have about 80,000 miles since complete rebuild. Engine was bored .030 oversize, crankshaft is std size, had 2 new cylinder heads installed, new camshaft, lifters, rocker arms, pushrods, timing chain, pump and injectors at time of rebuild. Engine casting was also magnafluxed. Engine block is out of a 1982 or 1983 truck with the red painted block, this is supposed to be a stronger casting. Transmission was completely rebuilt by a local reputable transmission shop and did have a new torque converter installed. Differential was also rebuilt and has probably about 90,000 miles. The rear end is from an earlier model Chevrolet truck and is a 12 bolt rearend with single trac and a 3.08 gear ratio. Truck also has brand new radiator, new windshield wiper motor, windshield wiper switch (in steering column),. Have also installed new fast heat glow plugs recently. Dual exhaust system is also fairly new. A/C works. Truck has Ground Force dropped front spindles and lowering shackles in the rear, billet grille and American Racing aluminum wheels all the way around. Truck has a lot of rust and interior is not in real good condition, but is a good dependable truck, gets about 24 MPG on hwy and about 19 or so in town. Would make a good project truck for the diesel lover or could be used for parts. I have owned this truck since 1992.
