This is a really nice little car that we bought as a salvage car to build into a race chassis. After looking at the damage to the front sheet metal, and the general nice condition of the car, and the fact it had been adult owned with no abuse and no smoking, we decided to rebuild it for a street car and find a second chassis for the race car. First, so you know what what was damaged; the car had been hit in the left front headlight. The hood, both fenders, bumper cover, core support, radiator, ac cond, air cleaner assy, both headlamps, ect were damaged and replaced. There was NO FRAME damage, and everything was perfectly within specs and alignment when we put the car on our frame machine. All new factory parts were used to repair the damage with the exception of the hood which was used unit from an identical car with identical paint coding. The entire front end was resprayed using Croma system , and blended to the doors. Car was then cut and polished to make the repairs invisable. There are NO FILLERS on this car, and this is first class work with no overspray ect. You cannot tell this car has been repaired! The car now has a Mazdaspeed CAI and a Cobb AP tuner installed. The car has a very mild pro tune done here on our dyno( we are a Cobb Pro tune shop), that is perfect for light street work and the CAI that is installed. As you can see from the pictures the car is spotless. It is a shame that it has a rebuilt title, but it gives someone a chance to drive a really neat MPS3 for low money. I know of only two things on this car that are flaws; one is the little plug for the front tow hook is missing( somebody swiped it in a parking lot after the repairs), and there is a very small dent in the rear deacklid on the right. It is hardly noticeable( look at the pics), but wanted to mention it. Car will be sold on the salvage title with full paperwork on repairs( reciepts, work performed, ect) so that you can just get the rebuilt title in your state. If sold in Texas, I will walk the paperwork thru for you, and you will recieve a rebuilt title direct from the state. Texas residents will be responsable for taxes and registration fees.
