Vehicle Detail
" THREE FOR ONE" I purchased the Starfire convertible and coupe from an engineer in Oklahoma who was moving to Arizona. The Starfire convertible was originally silver blue then repainted red but never put back together. He had purchased a complete floor from another car as well as disassembled the convertible. He had the seats reupholstered with the correct pattern, He rebuilt the 394 4 barrell, (standard rebuild, non-bore) and carb. Its ready to set in, the transmission appears original, probably needs a seal kit. Since I have had the car I drilled out all spot welds in the floor of the car and the extra floor, sandblasted the replacement floor and the crossmembers on the car as well as bottem of car. (original crossmembers were NOT cut out) both doors were chem-stripped, (165.00 each). Fenders, hood, deck lid were all soda blasted. The inner fenders and the top frame were sand blasted then primed. Both bumpers need to be redone. All stainless is there and actually quite nice. I bought extra parts from a starfire in San Antonio, interior and exterior, I have two complete consoles, two tilt wheels, all interior stainless, complete wiring harness from San Antonio car, the original sewn in floor mats, A nice set of original Starfire hubcaps ( paid 150.00) , with the clips to hold them to the wheels, a marginal set of the heavy turbine looking hubcaps, many duplicate parts, the door panels and inner quarter panels need to be redone but all stainless is present. Also the bumper jack, original electric antenna are there. I only have the one set of bucket seats. I purchased a new trunk pan also. (200.00) the quarters need a little metal replacement on the bottem as well and worked some to get really slick, the floor still needs some welding around the rear quarter edges. the third car is an 88 convertible the interior is there but it sat outside without a top and therefore not much good. The cars are all Texas and Oklahoma cars so the frames are all good and the cars very buildable. I dont have the heart to part them out, and if I had more room I,d keep them. Much time has already been put into the convertible. I only have a title to the Starfire convertible. Previous owner said he ran the coupe engine briefly. All glass is good on the Starfire convertible and coupe. Front glass is broken on the 88 and the header bow and windshield frame was pushed down some on the 88. Very Low Reserve On Sep-13-11 at 09:46:00 PDT, seller added the following information: The parts added in pictures were in the garage. The coupe is still full of parts, All body panel stainless is in the house, and I would rate it an 8 out of 10 at worst and maybe a nine, All coupe stainless is nice as well. The coupe has the nicest set of rocker panel molding, an 8 or 9 as well. Many, many parts, The car actually has the cruise control feature but I don't know if its all there and would work. Any questions, feel to ask, Thanks
