For your consideration my 1987 Audi. Quattro Turbo. GARAGE kept whole life. no rust on car. I am the third owner of this car and i have owned it for about 6 years. I have every receipt i have put into this car, as well as every receipt from previous owner (number 2) All the milage adds up. First of all the car has NEVER over heated and does not burn or leak any oil. Odometer reads 176,000 however it stopped working approx 2 years ago. Estimated is around 200,000. (very close) I have paperwork and if you put it all in date order you can pretty much determine without a benefit of a doubt that 200,000 is very very close. I bought and registered this car 6 years ago at 122,000 miles when odometer was still functioning properly. I am still friendly with owner 2. It is registered and insured and passed emissions in Connecticut. I drive it on a pretty regular basis mostly in the winter or when it rains because i own a motorcycle and that is my summer ride. Let me start with the things ive done to car recently. and i have all receipts with mileage on them. All of this have been done during the 6 years ive owned her. re-built steering rack from Force 5 Auto. about 20,0000 miles ago. Does not leak a drop. new clutch about 25,000 miles ago. all 4 rotors and pads new. replaced exhaust from CAT back (Still fine) replaced 1 fuel line and pressure accumulator replaced both front cv's brand new OEM parts replaced AUX waterpump replaced Power steering pump 4 new tires. and 4 wheel alignment replaced tranny gear oil. and have receipts for all oil changes at 3000 miles. I have a Manilla folder from the previous owner filled with service records from what he did to the car but im not listing them. because there is too much. I will give folder to you when you purchase car. Car runs and drives fine. This is what car needs: Timing belt is over due for a change i have 95,000 miles on belt and passes visual inspection but it needs to be done soon. one door handle is defective and needs to be replaced one window does not go down (switch i think)...if not switch its the Reg. motor in R. R door Heater blower motor comes and goes as it pleases. Makes a growling noise. Defrost seems to work though. cruise control does not work, never looked into it. small dent (SHOWN IN PICS) on right front fender and door. (door opens and closes fine w/out noise) A/C compressor shot. No ac. Buy a used compressor if u want AC. more good stuff: Sunroof works fine and does not leak, Drive train is perfect. Motor idles perfect, and all lites blinkers and stereo CD player. SONY detatchable face plate. etc is fine. 8 speakers all good. interior and headliner is very good. Dash has NO cracks. All leather interior, the only seat with tears is drivers seat. (shown in pics) The rest of seats are mint cond. Body has no rust at all. Glass all very good. Belts all good except timing belt needs change. I am selling only because i bought a newer audi and i want to devote time on her. I've had this Audi 6 years and i have never broke down. Buyer please take care of her. Both rear wheel bearings replaced at 103,000 miles. Have service records. The car has The Quattro option on the panel near the gear shifter, above the ashtray the option works fine. 2 wheel and four wheel locked positions engage and disengage fine. The car will drive thru 10 inches of unplowed snow no problem. It was years ahead of it time. Im hoping to sell to a Audi fan like myself. These cars take a bit of getting use to and i dont want to sell it to just anyone. I am a non smoker and so where the other 2 owners. All ashtrays are virgins i think. the light in the glove box works as well as the lite in the trunk. The lite on the inner of hood dont come on. I can send more pics to ur email address if needed.
