For sale is my 1986 Mustang GT. I was building it for a street/strip car, but the time has come to buy my son a truck so the Mustang has to go. The motor was rebuilt before I bought it and punched out to a 306. It has less than 5000 miles on it since the rebuild. I can't say the same for the tires. The rear tires are shot and need to be replaced. The left rear won't hold air anymore and has thread showing through. Unless you have a set of wheels and tires to slap on it, it'll have to be trailered home. The car has a 5 speed with a Hurst shifter that shifts smoothly. 3:73 gears out back. It also comes with a new set of MAC cat back with 3 inch stainless tail pipes still in the box. This was the first year of the fuel injected Mustangs, but this one is a carb car. It has and Edelbrock intake and carb and longtube headers. I put a complete Flaming River rack and pinion manual steering kit on it, but the old power steering pump is still in tact and functional if you decide to go back to power steering. It also has Lakewood ladder bars. There is no stereo and the a/c doesn't work. I've never even pulled a vaccum on it, so I don't know the issue. The car does need some body work and a dash pad. It has a few spots of rust in the normal places for these cars. It also has a ding in the hood where whoever had it before had to long of a stud on the carb.
