Bought vehicle in package deal and it is selling. It had been setting for 2 years after the brakes went out, I was told it was the master cylinder. I put a battery in it and started it up and it sounded good, had no noticeable blow-by or blue smoke, and no abnormal engine noises. It had a new exhaust system installed shortly before it was parked but the exhast doughnut gasket is making noise on the passenger side. I was able to drive it around my circle drive once but it has 0 brakes but it does drive forward and backwards. I did step down on the gas for a couple of seconds and it broke loose both rear tires with ease on my gravel driveway seeming to be a very strong engine but that was all I could do with no brakes. It was being driven 2 years ago and I believe a master cylinder and battery would have it driving again. I pulled of 1 front brake drum and the shoes appeared to be like new, also the emergency brake worked great, I tried bleeding the brakes but it did not help ( bad master cylinder) .Some windows work and some don't. It has several crome pieces in the trunk. The floor was undercoated and appears to be solid. I beleive this car is complete except for 1 hubcap and 1 of the wheels fits on the car ok but is not identical because the hubcap does not fit right, it also does not have a good battery. I may consider parting this vehicle out if it doesn't bring enough but I feel that wouId be a shame for a complete vintage car that runs and drives and has so much potential. It even has the original windshield washer bag. I do not know if the miles are original but the title reads 100,000 exempt from mileage requirements.
