1966 Chev Caprice 396, Hardtop, A/C This two owner Arizona car has spent most of it's life inside. 76k original miles. This car runs and drives perfectly. Link for video and 80+ pictures YouTube Video click here or copy and paste link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moC_8Kk7-mQ Photo Bucket to extra pics click or cut and paste; http://s1139.photobucket.com/albums/n548/pvclassics/1966%20Caprice%20For%20Sale/ -Orig 396 big block 325hp, 4bbl, L35 V-8-Has a mean muscle car sound -Orig Automatic transmission-ZERO smoke, ticks, or any noise from motor-Transmission shifts solid, fluid seepage wouldn't call it a leak-A/C blows cold-Brand new vinyl top, and note it's done like the factory did back then-Power steering works perfect, no leaks-Steers ultra straight down the road-Brakes perfectly straight-Handles on the hwy like a dream-Very fun to drive, and everyone loves this car-Radiator works perfect, no leaks-Runs at correct temp, no over heat issues-Fuel gauge works-Speedo works-Orig radio work, has a new power antenna but I couldn't figure out how to work it-Temp gauge works-All dash lights work-Wipers work-Headlights work, hi and lo-Blinkers work but you have to hold lever down for left, could use a selector switch it's loose inside column-E-brake works-Small oil leak, rear valve cover and driver side front just a little, worth mention-Brakes were resently serviced and work perfect, power brakes-New dual exhaust-Zero cracks in dash pad (has a cheep cover on it in some pics)-Carpet is perfect-Headliner is perfect-Two rear dome lights need lens' and the pass side needs bulb-Front seat is newer and does not match the original rear (see pics)-Rear view mirrior works perfect-Front seat adjusts properly-Gear selector is tight and indicates your gear properly-Side mirrior on drivers side works good, pass side need replacing-All windows crank properly-Windwings work perfectly-Door panels are in good condition, drivers side arm rest is covered with tape (see pics)-Door locks work perfect-Interior door handles are all there and work perfect-Glove box is in good condition and closes properly-Doors open and close firmly and properly-Glass is all good-Brand new tires-Paint is original, has minor fading around rear trunk lid but shines very nice-Minor chips from normal use, appears minor body work was done at right rear quater panel at some point in it's life-Pin stripe is in great shape-All chrome is in near perfect condition, no scratches, no chips, no surface rust-This car is 98% rust free, solid floors, solid trunk, the ONLY small spots are at the driver & pass lower fenders (see pics) -Frame is solid and has zero signs of damges in it's past-Trunk lid opens and closes correctly-Trunk lock works properly-Hood opens and closes properly-All body parts fit as they did in 66, nearly perfect-Door hinges are tight, no wobble or anything like that-All exterior lens' are in perfet condition-Headlamps are perfect-Note the condition of the grill, this IS the original grill and it's in perfect condition considering it's age-Exterior door handles work perfect-Vent pulls all work-Minor cracks are showing on some rubber seals-There's a small ding/cut in the stainless trim around the right rear fender (see detailed pic)-All exterior badges are original, 100% complete, and are mounted tightly where they belong-Bumpers are mounted original and tight, no wiggling or missing hardware-All window trim is in tact and tight-Orig hub caps and they are in perfect condition-Spare tire and orig jack are in trunk and properly mounted-Tint on side glass is light in shade but I would remove because one it's older and this car didn't come with it-Trunk area is clean, rust free, and has zero signs of any wrecks-Trunk appears to have a newer rubber seal installed-Under the hood is clean and unmolested-New master cyl-New battery-Newer hoses-Recent fluids change FEEDBACK – I maintain high standards of excellence and strive for 100% customer satisfaction! + Feedback is very important to me.
