This is a 1992 Summer Special Mustang which is a feature version of the 5.0 LX convertible. A little more than 2000 were produced with vibrant red exterior and trim with white and black interior and white rims. I've had the car in my position for about 12000 miles over a year and a half. The car is in great condition mechanically and cosmetically with only a few blemishes. A run in with a mailbox put a slight dent in the hood (there's a picture of it but it's kinda hard to see). The bottom of the rear right quarter is pressed in as well. There is also a scratch on the rear quarter (pictured). The picture below of the lower frame cross brace is shows some rust, but the metal isn't compromised. Engine and Transmission both work excellently, no mechanical problems. It's a new trans. Has AC and power locks but they don't work. Coolant needs to be converted to R134. Just recently noticed a slight oil leak and looks to be a rear main seal. Power windows work no problem, same as the convertible top and power mirrors. Weather strippings good. The leather is weathered a bit, but the only real problem is the rip in the driver's seat upholstery. The aftermarket parts only go as far as exhaust and a new radio. I didn't drill any holes in the dash for the kit, and i have the original radio if you want it, but the factory amp was busted so it's no longer in the vehicle ( not necessary for the aftermarket radio). The exhaust consists of BBK shorty headers up front, with 2 1/2" off road h-pipe run back to flowmasters. The rear diff has a new ring and pinion tho i'm not sure the ratio (either 3.55 or 3.73). So it has good take off and sounds great. Month old tires in the back, new alternator. The guy before me wanted to make double sure the mustang was American and i didn't have the heart to remove the two flags on the back. I really hate to see this girl go, but i need the money for college. It's a great cruising car and Woodward loves it. I've also got strut tower braces and touch up paint if you want them.
