Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1966 Ford Falcon Coupe that has been in my family since we bought it from the original owner. It was my first car and babied for years going to car shows and even being my car at prom and other events. Unfortunately the time has come to sell it. I have not had the money to continue restoring it, and the years we lived in Ohio with the salty roads was doing a number on the paint. I have a clean and clear Antique title, and up until this spring it was sitting under a custom cover in my drive. The terrible wind ripped the cover to shreds, but other than that it has been covered. It drove fine to to carwash last fall and drove great on a trip to and from Harper Kansas last summer. It has been parked since last fall. I have not tagged or road insured it since last fall, so I have been going over systems before getting it ready to sell. The battery is shot, and it will need a knew one since it is not holding a charge. It also needs some break fluid to get the breaks primed. All other fluids have been checked and topped off. Once all the pre-drive maintenence is done it will be ready to fire right up and head down the road. As far as body work goes, there is rust in some locations, but overall the body is actually in great shape. The only cosmetic issue is the passenger side door which need worked on and currently stays locked due to it being swung open and hitting a tree in the driveway, but the repair work looks minor. The rear left tire is currently a full spare, but it does need a new tire. Now that you know all the history of what still needs work here are the details of what already has been restored. As I said the body is still in great shape in most places. It has never been wrecked and will not need huge sections replaced or bondo's. The engine is the original straight six and was fully overhauled in 1998. Other restoration had been begun, the rear view mirror has been replaced, the trunk with was a disaster has been fully cleaned out and reupholstered. The old seat covers have been removed. There were two place in the driver's side and back seat where the floor metal had become thin and it has been fully repaired and re-soldered. We began repainting the interior and doing general cleanup as well. There is work to be done, but this has always been my baby. I simply do not have the money anymore to finish restoring it and can't stand the thought of it sitting wasting away in my driveway. Pictures below are from yesterday, it just needs a bath, since I don't have it tagged I haven't been able to get to the carwash. I know that this specific model is the rarest of Ford Falcon years/models and is worth a constant 15,000-20,000 once fully restored. At this price it would be easy for anyone to really make a great investment. Feel free to ask any questions, thanks!
