The Spirit of Liberty Jeep is a breathtaking 4-door Jeep Wrangler wrapped in an American Flag from bumper to bumper with an American Eagle on its hood. The patriotic artwork was completed by world-renowned automobile artist, Kiwi Terri. The two Jeeps (one hard top and one soft top) have been capturing the imagination of the American Public as two of these limited edition vehicles tour the nation, from coast to coast, border to border, on a Crossing of America tour. The Crossing of America began on May 27, 2011 just prior to Memorial Day Weekend, aboard the deck of the USS Midway in San Diego Harbor, and concludes on Thursday, September 8, 2011, on the deck of the USS Intrepid in New York Harbor. The closing ceremony of The Crossing of America will mark the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. The tour will have traveled over 12,700 miles through 43 states and the District of Columbia during its 105-day trip. Along the route, the Spirit of Liberty Jeeps will be the most celebrity-driven vehicles ever, having been driven by high-profile celebrities, sports figures, government officials, veterans, POWs, Medal of Honor recipients, and family members of fallen heroes. Each participant will sign a Spirit of Liberty book which will be included with the purchase of this vehicle. Signatures include President George Bush (41), Harrison Ford, Mario Lopez, Ted Nugent, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tim Abell, Mike Day, Mike Elliot, Dana Bowman, and more! Proceeds from the auctions will benefit Spirit of Liberty Foundation. The remainder of the sale price must be paid though US bank wire or cashier's check. Vehicle Delivery The winning bidder must pick up the vehicle (or arrange transport service at their own cost) within 30 days of written notification from seller and must present adequate personal identification and evidence of legally required insurance. The winning bidder is required to follow state requirements for tax, title and transfer.
