This is a “PCA” and “COA” kind of a carGENERAL DESCRIPTIONThis 41,300 mile from new, documented 3-owner 1981 911SC (WPOAA0911BS121026) is an original Stuttgart jewel that has been stored in a climate controlled facility for a majority of it's life. All original Chiffon White paint with front valence road rash appropriate to 41,300 miles of use. Original Fuch alloys are in outstanding condition with no curb rash. Spare tire has not touched the ground. The car is as it left the factory, sans the addition of a radar detector in the front valence. Fresh COA included. All gauges, switches and lights are in working order, including power antenna. Original radio is present. Does not smoke or leak. Good compression on all 6 cylinders with strong acceleration and arrow straight tracking. Ebay history reports shows one owner, it is a 3 owner car.The exterior is a 9 out of 10 (aforementioned road rash), while the interior is all original and a 9.5 out of 10.Purchased new in 1981 by the late Paul L. Filippini, MD of Somers, Connecticut. Dr Filippini, owned the car for 4 years, selling it to Richard "P" of Wallingford, Connecticut in October 1985. Mr. "P" owned the car for the next 26 years, barely driving it. I bought the car from Sloan Cars of New Haven, CT on consignment in February of 2011.I have documentation from October 1985 forward, however there is no factory maintenance book. There is a handwritten note (image provided) from owner 2 to owner 1. Original owner’s manual will be included.RECENT WORKThere has been $7,200 worth of work done to the car in 2011, including, but not limited to, head stud replacement for cylinders 1,2 and 3, new bronze pedal bushings, new hood struts, all fluids changed, chain tensioner update, new gaskets, new fuel filter and new starter. Please see receipts. There are brand new Dunlop Direzzas in factory sizes with less than 1,000 (one thousand) miles on them. Rubber center clutch was replaced in 1988, with no signs of wear. Tennessee emissions allow 220 parts per million hydrocarbons, and this car blew a “4”. When investing 30+K in a car, it’s much better for all involved, to inspect the car.FAULTS - FULL DISCLOSUREThere is no tool kit, no portable air compressor, no key light key and A/C does not blow cold. Driver's window rattles when fully closed. Driver's door carpet is coming unglued over the lip of the door pocket.FINAL THOUGHTSI work 1 minute from my home, so coordinating pick up with a transport company will be very easy on this end. I’ve done it a half dozen times before. I will keep the buyer well informed of what’s going on through the purchase process. I sit at my computer all business day long.There is no financial need.If I find my next 911 before this one sells, I will store this one at a nearby storage facility.
