Up for 7 Day Auction 1987 Chevrolet (Chevy) Corvette with GlassTarga Top This 1987 C4 Corvette is Black on Black and features a powerful V8 engine, automatic transmission with a low 137,000 original miles and all the standard features. This car starts up, runs, shifts through all the gears (including reverse) and drives., yes it RUNS AND DRIVES. Power windows work, power mirrors work, brakes work, radio works but there are no speakers, wipers work,all readings on the center display cluster work (voltage, coolant temp, trip gauge...), all instruments on the dash seem to be in proper working order, tires need to be replaced and interior driver side door handle does not work. Glass targa top is included and can still be used with/on the car, but is broken in the center, so it will need to be replaced (see photos). I purchased this car a few years ago to restore to it's orginal grandeur, unfortunately the economy being what it is, I was never able to get around to it. Now I have other projects to complete, so this little baby is for sale. My loss is your gain! With a tune up and oil change, maintenance performed(as it's been sitting, but regulary started and driven a little), this car can be driven as it is now, but with a little time and money, this car can once again be showroom condition in no time. This is a running driving project car, be clear and understand what your are buying. You will need to invest some time and money if you want to make this car perfect.
