1951 BMW

1951 BMW 51/3 I have had this bike in storage about 10yrs. I took it to my local BMW mechanic and had carburators cleaned and bike in running condition. Someone had sprayed the inside of the gas tank with a sealant and the top of the inside of tank is peeling off as most of them did. The reserve of tank is just fine. Reserve position must be used at this time. Bike will need a new wiring harness at some point, but harness works for now. Motorcycle has been reconditioned, we think probably in Greece as many were during this period and then shipped to the US. This is truly a nice example of this year and model. Motorcycle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if a local sale is made. MILEAGE is in kilometers. Please ask any questions you might have prior to bidding.
