2002 VW JETTA TDI WAGON *NEWLY REBUILT TRANSMISSION* *PRIVATE SALE* NO RESERVE EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR THE AGE VERY PRETTY CAR! EXTERIOR: Gorgeous Blue with Grey Interior. Body is in GREAT SHAPE for the age and mileage. As you can see there is no rust on the body. Non smoking single female owner with no pets. Well maintained car, did all the oil changes, service. Just invested $3,000 on a NEW VW TRANSMISSION Just bought something else with 1/3 the miles. It uses a little bit of oil, but thats to be expected for a TDI with almost 200,000 miles. It does not leak anything underneath, nor above. Timing belt, water pump, tensioner were done around 150,000 miles. I was told it had a 100,000 mile timing belt. The engine is excellent, The transmission shifts well through all the gears (IT BETTER!). The torque converter has the light blue color so thats the color VW uses to show its a new VW transmission. Engine purrs like a kitten but it has a lot of power with the turbo when you need it! Glass is all in excellent shape, crack in right side mirror. INTERIOR: Interior is EXCELLENT for the age and mileage. The seats are both heated power seats. Stereo works fine but a small knob is missing. OK so I'm not a super near freak but I'm also by no means a slob. I did not have a chance to clean the car up yet. No spills or stains on seats or carpets. Original manual in the car. Vehicle drives very nice on the highway. It has MOSTLY highway miles. Tires all around have about %60-80 tread left. MECHANICAL: Brakes are great, no ABS lights on. Suspension and steering are excellent, no squeaks and does not have any suspension issues. Power locks work. All power windows work. Power seats work. Cruise control works. No electrical issues. All headlights, tail lights working. Heat blows hot. A/C blows cold. Exhaust is good, not leaking anywhere. THIS IS A HARD TO FIND TDI WAGON - ESPECIALLY WITH A NEW TRANSMISSION - SO DON'T MISS IT! I WAS TOLD THIS CAR CAN EASILY GO ANOTHER 100,000 MILES IF YOU JUST DO REGULAR MAINTAINANCE. This vehicle was *VERY* well maintained throughout its life. Like EVERY used car, it is not perfect. Here are its defects: 1. right side mirror cracked 2. right front bumper parted a little 3. engine plastic cover thingy off, needs to put back 4. a minor scratch and ding here and there, typical for the age and mileage THIS IS A PRIVATE SALE- NO SHADY CAR DEALERS INVOLVED. YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THIS CAR! I WOULD PERSONALLY DRIVE THIS CAR TO CALIFORNIA WITHOUT HESITATION, ESPECIALLY ONCE THE SENSOR IS INSTALLED.
