Opportunity with Options: Buy, Repair or Resell 86 Toyota Corolla GTS coupe. Original 4AGE motor and 5speed transmission. Don’t be discouraged by mileage, 218k. This car still purrs like a kitten. Factory posi-rear with 4.30 gear ratio makes no noise. The blue on blue suede interior is PERFECT. Carpet has some stains, needs to be cleaned. Door windows and locks are manual, however a working power sunroof sets it off. The Uni-body structure consists of front frame rails and inner structure, floor panels, trunk floor, right and left rear inner wheelhouse panels are SOLID. Exterior isn’t so pleasing to the eyes, but nothing some replacement parts can’t fix. Right and left fenders need to be replaced. Rocker panels, right and left sides have holes on outer skins but not on inner skins. Right door needs to be replaced, due to rotted bottom edge. Right rear 1/4 panel outer skin (over top of tire and down dog leg to rocker panel) needs to be replaced. Rear body panel and deck lid are in fine condition. Left rear 1/4 panel (dog leg to rocker panel) needs to be replaced. Left door is fine.
