Vehicle Detail
YOU ARE BIDDING ON TOTALLY RESTORED 1973 NOVA SS EITH A 427ci 4-SPEED! THE CAR WAS FINISHED IN 2005 AND I BOUGHT IT IN 2008 FROM A GUY IN MICHIGAN. I HAVE SEVERAL PICTURES AND THE ORIGINAL APPRAISAL by DEREK MOTORCAR COMPANY: After thorough inspection of this automobile, I have arrived at the following conclusions. The original exterior color of the car is medium gold metallic. The custom paint job is in very good condition for being 14 years old. Black SS style accents strips were added at the time of the repaint. The body is very straight and there are no signs of any rust. The front bumper, rear bumper, windshield, and all seals are new. Allother glass, chrome, lenses, embloms, and mouldings are in good condition. The trunk compartment has been refinished and is rust free. The interior is in black vinyl and looks great. The dashboard, headliner, and carpeting look very original. The door panels, front bucket seats, rear seat, and rear shelf have been custom made with gold stitching and piping to finish off the interior. Some features include a factory tachometer, floor console with gauges, "Hurst" four-speed shifter, sport mirrors, AM/FM cassette stereo, and "Jensen" speakers. All lights, wipers, horn, and gauges work. The drive train consists of an all new 427 cubic incg V8 engine mated to a new "Richmond T-10" four-speed manual transmission. Custom features include an "Edelbrock" intake, "Holley 800" double pump carburetor, high performance camshaft, dome pistons, roller rocker arms, heavy duty starter, custom valve covers, high volume fuel pump, "MSD" ignition, chrome air cleaner, chrome brake booster, custom pulleys, and brackets. The battery, bushings, motor mounts, aluminum radiator with chrome cover, electronic fan, universal joints, and shocks are new. The engine compartment has been completely refinished. In the transmission, the clutch, pressure plate, and linkage are new. The exhaust is made up of custom headers, three inch pipes, and "Flowmaster" mufflers. The brake system and traction bars work well. The new "Crager SS" mag wheels are mounted on "Goodyear Eagle ST" white letter radial tires. The appraisel came in at $22,000 as the car sits with 11,044 miles on the restoration and 200 on the motor. This car has been stored indoors and is an all-around great driver to go have fun with. This car is smoking FAST! It cruised good on the highway with 3:08 Gears 10 bolt posi rear end. I would give this car 8.5-9 out of 10. There are a few minor chips in the paint. The car is overall very solid. The driver side pan has a small repair patch. The trunk pan has a repair patch. The rest of the underbelly is very solid. The interior is flawless. THIS CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANYTIME. SOLD "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTY.
