1968 Triumph Trophy

You're bidding on a 68 Triumph TR25WC, (250 Trophy). I purchased this recently from a younger gentleman who bought it from the original owner at a "tag sale". The bike had been in storage and not ridden for close to 40 years and has just over 1300 original miles. After a good carburetor cleaning and very little tinkering I managed to get this relic started right up and running/riding great within minutes. However, the bike is over 40 years old and a bit cosmetically challenged. The paint on the gas tank had quite a few surface rust spots and was not salvageable. I am not a professional painter, but the quick black spray job that I performed looks much better than what was originally on the bike. The chrome condition is fair, there is some pitting and surface rust. Not shown, but included is the original horn and air cleaner assembly. Overall this little 1300 orig. mile Trophy is very solid and it is an absolute hoot to ride! Restore it or just have fun with it the way it is. This motorcycle was never registered and Ct. does not issue t*tles for vehicles this old, so IT WILL BE SOLD WITH A NOTORIZED CT. BILL OF SALE signed by me. The pictures tell the rest of the story.
