You are bidding on this 1968 Mercury Monterey Convertible. This car is in good shape and does run. It will need a complete tune up however (plugs, wires, etc...). The engine is a very strong 390 big block. I can not find the air breather cover, but everything else looks to be there. The body is in good shape with very minimal rust. All the rust that I can see or feel is isolated to the trunk area. The drivers side door latch is broken, however I have a new one for you to put on. The passenger side turn signal glass is broken and the grill is bent just a bit. The power convertible tops works great and seals very nicely. The previous owner told me that he had just put the top on. It will need to be stretched just a bit in the back. The interior seats will need to be re-upholstered if you want them to be perfect. I have owned this car for less than a year. I never got around to working on this car due to some personal issues. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability. Vehicle miles are unknown. I am listing this car for less than I paid for it. I just want to move it and free up some space.
