Hello, We eventually have 8 1966 Thunderbirds for sale. These were all bought in the late 70's/early 80's. They were put up on blocks with the suspension hanging in 1984. They have been stored in a dry, tight pole barn ever since. None of these cars run, and they must be picked up by someone with a winch and trailer or possibly a few strong men if the vehicle rolls. These cars were recently taken off of the blocks and staged for selling on Ebay. Each car has 4 tires that inflate but some do not hold air more than a few hours. All of these cars have good glass (90% confident) and good interiors if they are in/with the car. All of the cars have clear titles and keys and are located in ANDERSON, IN 46012. Some of the keys appear to only turn the trunk lock, the ignition key may not turn. This auction is for the Red CONVERTIBLE Thunderbird. Only 5049 Convertibles were made in 1966. This car does not roll easily; the wheel(s) may brake loose when winched. This is a no-reserve auction. This car has a dented body (front fenders at least) and the drivers door doesn't open easily, but there doesn't appear to be much rust on the rear quarters or really on the rest of the car. The rear bumper and taillights are good. This car has the 390 Thunderbird V-8. The hood, front bumper and grill/headlight assemblies look okay. Note: I don't know why there is an additional plate below the normal plate on the drivers door. Note: this car appears to have factory AIR CONDITIONING. This is auction #7 of 8 total. There are no gurantees implied with this auction. What you see is what you get. Look at my long eBay history as an excellent buyer and seller for confidence. I have bought 2 cars and a bike and sold 1 car on eBay. We are unable to take more pictures of different features of each car during the auction, please do not request. For vehicle pickup: I need to know at least 24 hours in advance and strongly prefer weekends. Otherwise weekdays in the evenings require 72 hours advance, and I cannot gurantee that I can accomodate you. I can put air in the tires for pickup if requested. If scheduling problems happen, I may be able to leave the car outside for you to pickup at your request, but I take no responsibility in that case for anything at all. Buyer is completely responsible for all aspects of vehicle pickup; these are very heavy cars. I need a non-refundable $100 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Also, more pics on RH side of vehicle coming, but very straight and no/surface rust only. Solid car throughout. Only major body issues are LH front fender is toast and RH front fender has minor dent(s). Also, more pictures of VIN plate coming, but not sure if they will turn out. It DOES match the title 100% though; just taking for peace of mind and to show more info. Maybe minor scrape or surface rust midways up on rear right quarter and a minor dent on very front of front quarter, but very solid metal and not major problems at all. Bid with confidence!
