Vehicle Detail
I have up for auction one of my favorite garage ornaments and prized possession-my custom built Suzuki TL1000R.First of all, the reason that there are 2 different years down on the description is becouse the bike is completely a custom built ground up build-so the title only matches the frame, which is a 1999. Everything else on the bike, such as plastics, motor, etc is from a 2002. It is NOT a salvage title and was not from a crashed bike. This bike was literally built from the frame up and mostly everything on the bike was purchased new-including the motor which was then built to what it is now. I will start with the motor which was bored and built with the biggest bore kit available for the TL1000 motor, which I belive makes it equivelent to a 1208cc, but I am not 100% on the exact number- but I do know it was the biggest bore that could be done. There is a Yoshimura stageR/typeR custom ground cam, custom forged Wiseco pistons with armor glide coating as well as custom crankshaft/connecting rod kit.Yoshimura RS-3 exhaust.Motor and components are pretty much new-they have exactly what the bike says on it- 2,407 miles on them. The bike is lowered in front and rear and I also have the swingarm has Vortex chrome adjustable extentions to 9 1/2". Right now I have it set about 8" over stock. Also has vortex sprokets,EK chain, stainless brake lines.Obviously the bike has a custom programed ECM and Power Commander 3.BMC Race air filter and and the ram air system has also been modified to smooth out airflow. As for the body/aftermarket accessories- the list is pretty endless. The paint started as a pearl metallic white, covered in the Lexus indiglo blue and has white flames with the silver pearl metallic outline and has ghost flames throughout the bike. There is also spike bolts and accessories pretty much everywhere I could get them.Spike pegs, fairing bolts, tube covers, caliper covers, etc, etc.Chrome Vortex gas cap.Polished/chrome frame, triple tree, fairing brace, stabilizer swingarm,a lot of custom made one of a kind parts that have "TL" engraved in them- like heel plates plate relocator, etc. Chrome wheels with Michelin Pilot power tires on them.Custom brake/clutch levers that have TL engraved on them.Chrome screen with blue flames on it.There is also a 2.5lb chrome nitrous bottle mounted in front of the rear tire that is set up for purging through 2 of the blue LED lights that are mounted under the front of the bike. When the nitrous purges, it illuminates a plume of blue nitrous cloud in the air.The nitrous is a complete kit and is also functional, but it is not hooked up to the fitting on the airbox- I have never run the nitrous through the motor but you can if you want-the fitting is there-you just have to connect the hose to it.I used it only for looks and purging. The only thing that you could call "wrong" with the whole bike is that the Tach cuts in and out sometimes-obvously a connection issue but it has never bothered me enough to look into it further. Bike also has Hotbodies undertail with Clear Led light with intergrated signals in them.Has LED chrome front signals. Also has a lot of blue LED lights under bike and in fairings to light up at night. There is also a rear seat that matches the custom upholstered front one that comes with the bike. I also am including the tag relocator that is engraved with the "TL" on it and spike border for the liscense plate.I have not installed it becouse as you can see, there is no plate on the bike-so obviously you know that it is not ridden with the exception of on my road becouse I live in the country. The bike was basically a show bike for me and has won endless awards. I can not even begin to tell you the amount of money, time, sweat, and tears that has gone into this bike-but if you know bikes, then you know exactly what I mean. For the last 3 years, this bike has been my baby and there was no expense spared. I just simply do not have the time to enjoy it the way it should be and can not justify keeping it just for the sake of having it. As much as it hurts me to part with it- I know it is only right that this bike goes to someone who can enjoy and charish it as I have for the amount of time I have owned/built it. I know there is alot that I may be forgetting, so please feel free to ask questions and I have also listed my number below- so go ahead and give me a call if any questions. I have also set the initial bid at a very respectable price and put no reserve on this bike- so it goes to the highest bidder. But please only serious bidders that are honest. I am 100% honest and just ask the same in return. Buyer is responsible for pick up unless you arrange for delivery with me for the bike.If it is not too far- I can deliver.I have an enclosed cycle trailer and would be willing to for an additional cost. There is also a $1500 down payment due within 24 hours of auction end and the remainder is due within 72 hours. Also- there is a small lein on the title of the bike,so we will have to arrange for pickup during bank hours-although I will try to get the lein released before the end of auction.Hope that isnt a problem for any bidders. I thank you very much for looking and god bless and have a wonderful day. My number is (920)539-6131 for those with any questions. My name is Derek. Thanks again.
