Vehicle Detail
2005 Suzuki GSX-R 750, 20th Anniversary Edition (#2776 of 5000), 6,700 miles. In my opinion and many others, the 04-05 GSX-R’s were the best looking generation. I think you would agree if you see what they have since been reduced to. I bought this bike brand new off the showroom floor in December, 2005. It has been treated like a brand new bike since that day. All initial service was performed properly at the original dealership, and I meticulously change the oil with Mobil 1 Racing 4-T every 1,500 miles (just changed at 6,000). Because it is the 20th Anniversary Edition, it came stock with the 1985 throwback paint scheme, tinted windscreen, carbon fiber looking front fender, slotted brake rotors, Yoshimura designed pipe, blue chain, and special keys. I have added a Yoshimura carbon fiber TRS slip-on pipe, Hotbodies Racing color-matched undertail with LED turn signals, Hotbodies flush mount LED front turn signals, and a Hotbodies GP (double bubble) clear windscreen. It also has brand new Dunlop Sportmax Q2 tires front and rear. I also have the rear seat which switches out with the cowl. In the spring of 2006, first month out, I managed to drop the bike in a grass ditch in front of my apartment since the driveway was being paved (embarrassing #1, and #2 a bad idea to ride through grass). At least I got that out of the way early and not at 70mph. The left fairing has a small crack towards the bottom, and there are barely visible scuff marks. You can’t see any of this unless you really look for it, and I have never even considered replacing the fairing since it’s so insignificant. There are also a few peppered rock chips in the undertail, which is to be expected. The rest of the bike is flawless and clean. I have the clear title in hand. I love this bike and hate to see it go, but I’m simply done riding after some recent events in my group of friends. I have never owned anything more enjoyable and fun to ride. I would prefer to not sell this bike to anyone who is going to abuse it, or any first time riders, but that’s out of my control. I think it belongs with an enthusiast like myself. Even the dealer I bought the bike from has inquired about getting it back for his private collection (though he would rather trade me for something newer). I will not provide shipping. You must pick it up with cash in hand. I’m willing to drive a short distance to meet if it will help. If you don’t have a Canyon Dancer, you can have mine so you can haul it properly. The starting price is set right at NADA low retail. I’m happy to answer any questions you have. Thanks for looking.
