1999 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE GLS TDI Diesel - 48 MPG Highway! Up for auction is this beautiful, excellent running Volkswagen Turbo Diesel Beetle. I purchased this car from Florida and it has absolutely NO RUST anywhere. It has been well serviced and is in excellent condition. Body has never been in a collision - all original body panels and original paint. Everything works like it is supposed to. Air Conditioning blows ICE COLD. Car starts easily, drives and stops straight, makes no unusual noises, no unusual oders. No "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT", brake indicator, or AIR BAG lights iluminated. Motor has surprising power as turbo charger works flawlessly and pulls car smoothly and strong. Very clean inside and out. All glass is clean and clear. A few minor sratches on the body and some clear coat finish is peeling off the front bumper and hood (typical of southern cars) - paint is all intact, no dents - overall, body is very presentable and looks great. Interior presents very well with nice clean untorn or unstained leather seats which show very little wear. About the only thing this car will need would be some rear tires sometime soon (but will safely get you across the country as they are - they still have a few thousand miles in them). Overall, an above average car that has alot of life in her...these TDI VW's are known to get well over 200,000 miles with minimal problems. This would be a great car for a student to go off to school in as it is safe and dependable and is low cost to run. These have one of the highest safety ratings when involved in collisions.
