Up for consideration is a 1964 Lincoln Continental. 19,001k. Black exterior/Burgundy interior. Power windows and door locks. Standard 430 v8 engine. I attempted to restore this vehicle but my Mom passed away and got preoccupied with legal stuff and didn't get a chance to finish,so my loss is your gain. Don't know for sure if this is the actual milage but my guess based on the condition I got it in,it had probably been sitting for a very long time. Salvage title due to previous owners were an Auto recycler company in Baltimore,Md. The pics are self explainatory. I got the vehicle painted 'cause I was tired of it looking like a driveway eyesore. Paint job is passible but to me it's a 65% out of 100. I took it to a mechanic and he said it runs great.(So did the gentleman I purchased it from back in Jan.) Haven't heard it run though. In order for it to be in fully operable order it would need a battery, fuel tank,gas lines,installation of the key and tumbler,and the exhaust replaced. I added two new tires in the rear cause the others were dry rotted. Cosmetically, it still needs body work in order to be in Barrett-Jackson condition. The interior definetly needs to be recovered. The rear doors don't open. The dealer told me it's something minor and I haven't had time to addressed that. No headliner or carpet. The whole car is pretty solid except for the front floor pans need sheet metal and I'm currently working that out.The chrome on the sides are in excellent shape but the chrome in the front is pitted around the grille/headlights etc.Rear bumper needs to be rechromed and I have replacement ends to it as well. (see pics). I only have two of the hubcaps. All the glass is still intact. Rear window will need the trim and the decklid has a dent in it.
