You are bidding on a gorgeous Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 maintained to a very high standard. This GTV features a new interior (seats, headliner, carpets), great paint following light professional modifications, refreshed motor converted to Webers with new cams, pistons, headers, etc., and a brand new Sony CD player. All original parts are included, e.g. bumpers and side marker lights. The bumpers and side marker lights were removed by a previous owner to present a styling that harkens back to this model’s successful racing heritage. This Oregon ‘blue plate’ car was originally imported and sold by the Ron Tonkin dealership in Portland and is on its third Oregon owner with 107k miles, and only approximately 6k miles since restoration. The significant upgrades and overall condition of the car make this a desirable GTV. This GTV is driven only in fair weather. The previous owner also prepared the car to run on the track by installing a five-point safety harness (driver only) and fire extinguisher. Included in the purchase price is a complete additional set of lightweight wheels and new tires. As with any car of this vintage, some items are not in perfect condition. Following is a list of known issues: Slight paint crack on the corner of the front spoiler presumably from inattentive parking. A dashboard cap was installed over the lightly cracked original.r Paint is in great condition but some appear chips from normal driving.
