Vehicle Detail

This Element is my daily driver. 94,777 miles at time of listing. EX MODEL, AWD, AT, A/C, ABS, AM/FM/CD, sunroof, power mirrors, windows and locks, with remote keyless entry. Car is in excellent condition inside and out. Exterior has no rust, paint is excellent all around. Two SMALL/LIGHT dings on passenger side (one on each door). I believe that these could be removed with a paintless dent repair, but haven't tried it yet. Interior has no cracks, tears or stains, non-smoking owner. Minor scuffing on the rubberized hand holds on the doors and light scratching around A/C fan control from fingernail contact. Windshield has two small dings that should probably be filled, but no cracks in glass. New tires last fall, have 50,000 mile warranty (about 40,000 left). Accessories include: Element seat covers, Element rubber floor mats (front and rear), splash guards and front vent visors. Factory stereo CD system also has built-in subwoofer...not quite a high end aftermarket system, but pretty respectable overall. Rear seats either fold down flat, fold up flat against the side windows, or come out completely. I drove to Virginia and brought back a 62" tv inside with no problem. This car runs great, motor has lots of pep and merges in with highway traffic with no problem. Engine runs smoothly, transmission shifts smoothly. Braking is smooth and quick. Driving in snow/ice and pulling out from a stop on a wet hill are never a problem thanks to the AWD. I commute about 20 miles round trip daily, and travel to Erie (600 miles round trip) 3 to 5 times a year. Highway Mpg is usually around 24 or 25, city typically is about 19. Combined gets around 21 mpg. Oil has been changed regularly. Most scheduled services have been performed, 90,000 mile service is presently overdue. Inspection appointment is set up for this weekend (expires at end of September), so this car will be 100% ready for a new owner. I need to sell this car to pay off my house, otherwise I would gladly keep this car another 10 years or so. Everybody who rides in this car comments on how nice it is to drive and how spacious the interior is and the unobstructed view from the rear seats. More pictures to be uploaded as I take them. Car is deep blue exterior with lighter grey interior and blue trim. I will be happy to send photos of anything (on the car) that you want. I can be reached at 717-554-4284 pretty much any time. Text messages are ok if you like. I work around heavy equipmemt frequently, so I may not hear the ringer...leave a message if I don't answer and I will call u back ASAP. If you are in the area and would like to see the vehicle in person and take a test drive, you are welcome to do so, just contact me at the number above and we can get together. Thanks for looking, DaveOn Aug-25-11 at 13:27:04 PDT, seller added the following information: 8/25 UPDATE UPDATE: Just had PA inspection completed on the Element today, and everything checked out ok. The mechanic said he thinks that this car will need new front brakes by next year's inspection, and the rear brakes are starting to approach replacement, too. After the inspection, I took it to a car wash, and afterward walked around the vehicle to make sure I hadn't missed anything. One of the dings on the passenger side took some work to find, it's that light, and the other one isn't much worse. I did notice a new ding in the hood (again, almost not noticeable) in the center, near the windshield, and a couple of paint chips in the hood just above the grill. I could probably have just touched the chips up and not mentioned them, but I want the new owner to know EXACTLY what they are buying, down to the smallest detail, especially before the reserve price is met. If you are interested and have ANY concerns that I can address verbally or with photos, please let me know and I will do whatever it takes to provide an accurate description. Please come take a look if you can, overall this is a VERY nice vehicle. I will try to add photos of dings and chips in paint and windshield, along with some photos of the interior on 8/26. Thanks, again! On Aug-26-11 at 10:17:49 PDT, seller added the following information: 8/26 UPDATE UPDATE: Additional photos now uploaded. The worst case chips in paint and windshield are now displayed (I had trouble with the camera focusing on the windshield chips, kept wanting to focus on clouds in reflection, and one of the chips is dead center on a cloud, so keep in mind it's just the grey blob in the middle, not the whole thing). A few pinhead and smaller blemishes in the windshield and paint in nose area, as to be expected from normal driving. I took the seat covers off and threw them in the washer this morning, so no pics yet (you should be able to see what they look like with a search on ebay or the Honda website if you don't want to wait). As you can see, the alloy wheels are still perfect. I was hoping to take the car and get it buffed/polished so it really glowed (this metallic blue color is brilliant in the sunlight), but don't think I will have time before the auction ends. As usual, thanks for your consideration, and I hope I have provided enough information to be helpful. Dave.On Aug-26-11 at 11:12:28 PDT, seller added the following information: OOPS, forgot to point out something in the picture of the center console/shifter...A couple of spots appeared while I was cleaning the panel around the shifter this morning. You can see them to the right and above the shifter. Small, but visible. Also, I double checked the value on Kelly Blue Book's website for private sellers: Excellent condition is $10,445, good condition is $9820. I would have to say the condition of this car falls somewhere between the two, not quite perfect, but great overall. With that said, my reserve price is about $2500 below the good condition price, so don't be afraid to bid away!On Aug-27-11 at 14:16:03 PDT, seller added the following information: 8/27 RESERVEHAS BEEN MET! Stock photo of Honda seat covers is also now uploaded.
