I AM LISTING THIS FOR MY BROTHER, SO IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS CALL (217) 779-9151 AND ASK FOR KEVIN 02 FORD EXPLORER 4X4 “EDDIE BAUER EDITION” – 109K – RUNS WELL – LOW RESERVE 2002 Ford Explorer 4X4 “Eddie Bauer Edition”, loaded with leather seats / moon roof / 4.6L V8 etc.. Has 109,000 miles on it and runs and drives very well. Let’s start off with All of the GOOD points of this vehicle. I bought this Explorer 9 years ago while it was still under warranty, and have used it as my family’s main mode of transportation up until recently, and have had really good luck with it. This has the Eddie Bauer package with features like power everything / leather seats / moon roof / CD player / heated seats / privacy glass / has an aftermarket remote starter also. Has the 4.6L V8 which has never had to work a day in it’s life, has a hitch on it, but has not been used as a tow vehicle. Here are some of the maintenance items I have done….Just professionally tuned-up including plugs / plug wires / replaced some injectors ($480 bill). Installed new brakes and tires at 98,000 miles and a new transmission at 107,000 (has warranty), also replaced muffler and catalytic convertor at this time. I don’t drive this vehicle anymore as it is our 3rd vehicle, so it’s time to let it go. A/C works good, vehicle is reliable and can go anywhere. The BAD things are as follows….Hood and roof have hail damage (did not collect from insurance on it) (see pictures) hood got it the worst, roof isn’t that bad / Some minor damage to the front driver’s side headlight area (see pictures) / About 1 month ago I replaced the passengers rear strut (cracked spring), and now the driver’s side is squeaking, so I assume it needs replaced also (I spent $180 on parts), but I’m done spending money so you will have to fix that one.
