I am selling my 1997 Viper GTS, in excellent condition. This car has served me problem free for six years, and I've put quite a bit of money into it on modifications that made it a much better car than stock. I have included a list below of all the modifications the vehicle has - they have all improved it to some degree in my opinion. This car has always been garaged. It has not been put in a time capsule. These cars are meant to be driven, if you're looking for an investment, buy gold :) I am looking to sell it for a fair price, and have made the reserve FAR below listed Blue Book and NADA values. The vehicle paint is in beautiful condition, with normal road wear from sand, rocks, etc on the front fascia, and wheel wells. I photographed some scratches on the driver side front fascia. There are also scratches on the front lower fascia, and a small area of spider web cracking in the white paint under the clearcoat, lower front fascia. There is also a small area of clearcoat overspray on the driver side sill. I am very picky, and notice all these things where the casual observer will not. You will get no misleading dealer talk from me, I will tell you all I can about this car, including its flaws. I photographed all the areas mentioned. You will get no surprises from me, I want the buyer to be happy with this car, and treat it as it deserves. Oh, and if you buy from a dealer, you pay SALES TAX :( which of course you don't have to worry about with me. I have the title in hand, and there is no lien on the vehicle. They don't make cars like this anymore. From the $13,000 clamshell hood to the wide curvy fenders and the graceful swoop of the rear ducktail, this car was a classic from the start. These cars were hand made, 1997 production numbers for the Blue and White GTS were approximately 965 units, thats it. Many have been wrecked or salvage titled since then. The Blue and White GTS was only made in 1996-1997, and is considered one of the most desireable paint schemes in Viper history. It also included the aluminum block forged motor (discontinued after 1999) with the lumpy 708 cam. I sold an '02 Corvette Z06 to buy this Viper back in 2005, and never looked back. It is a superior vehicle, although dangerous in the hands of an inexperienced driver. If you buy this car and wreck it, I WILL FIND YOU lol .. If you want the vehicle inspected at your cost, there is a Dodge dealer with a Viper tech within 15 miles of me. I would be willing to take it if necessary. He has done work on my car before, and knows it pretty well. A 500.00 non refundable deposit is required within 2 days of auction end, Paypal is OK. Full payment within 7 days of end of auction required. I will accept cash, cashier's check, or personal check - NO PAYPAL. When the funds clear, title gets transferred.
