Up for 7 Day Auction 1987 Chevrolet (Chevy) Corvette with Targa Top This 1987 C4 Corvette is Black on Black and features a powerful V8 engine, automatic transmission with a low 137,000 original miles and all the standard features. This car starts up first crank, runs, shifts through all the gears (including reverse) and drives. Windows work, brakes work, tires have about 20% tread. Targa top is included and can still be used with/on the car, but is broken Iin the center, so it will need to be replaced (see photos). I purchased this car a few years ago to restore to it's orginal grandeur, unfortunately the economy being what it is, I was never able to get around to it. Now I have other projects to complete, so this little baby is for sale. My loss is your gain! This car can be driven as it is now, but with a little time and money, this car can once again be showroom condition in no time. For those who've inquired and may not be clear, this is a PROJECT car. ABSOLUTELY the car starts up runs and drives, as stated, but will it need a tune up, oil change, maintenance, probably so. It's a 24 year old car. When taking the pictures, I played with a few of the features to give a more detailed description for questions that may arise, it is as follows: The radio works, but there are no speakers, power windows work, power mirrors work, power seats work, console cluster works (battery voltage, trip gauge, coolant temp...), windows roll up and down, windshield wipers work and all functions on the dash seem to be working properly.
