Vehicle Detail
350 cu in rebuilt approximately 20,000 mi ago. Aftermarket cam, headers, intake manifold, carburetor, and dual flowmaster exhaust. TH700 4 speed auto transmission with overdrive, car cruises at 2000rpm at 70-75mph. Rebuilt 10-bolt with Posi and 2.73 gearing for effortless cruising on the highway. Many new parts installed including front inner fenders, battery tray, battery, battery cables, gas tank, sending unit, front suspension components, front shocks, master cylinder, brakes redone, new heavy duty clutch fan, carburetor bracket. brand new tires. Car starts up easily, works perfect in all gears (except you are unable to shift manually into 1st gear because a 4speed auto was put into a 3speed auto car). Stops well, turns well, headlights work, tail lights work, marker lights work, brake lights work, turn signals work. Interior looks very nice, a couple minor rips and one wear spot on seats, carpet is great, headliner is great, door panels are nice. Speedo and Tach both work. Factory clock is iffy. Aftermarket gauges under dash give you accurate temp and oil pressure. Car runs at 190F in the Phoenix AZ summers. Does not overheat. Car has spent its life in California and Arizona. Nice and clean, dry, solid. Was originally an A/C car, but was removed by previous owner. I have most parts to reinstall. Needs dome light and lens ( I have). Has non-stock steering wheel ( I have stock replacements - 2 of them - take your pick). Missing one piece of rocker molding (you can buy a 10-piece replacement set online). I have new reproduction wheel well moldings that will go with the car. I have inner passenger door handle that will go with the car. Car was originally gold, but was repainted by a previous owner in a Butternut Yellow. It has minor chips but covers the car completely, works fine as a driver, but should be repainted in the color of your choice to really finish this car off! As far as I know, I am the third owner. Exact mileage is unknown, but entire drivetrain has been rebuilt in the past 20k miles (engine), 10k miles (transmission and rearend). Serious inquiries only please...I have priced this car between Low and Average Retail Value based on Nada Classic Car guide.
