Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 Normal 0 I am listing my 1965 GTO clone. This is an awesome car that has always been a head turner. The body is straight and in perfect condition without any bondo or filler of any kind. There are no dents, dings or any other imperfections in the finish of this car period. The car was painted with a beautiful white base and coat clear finish in 1997. It has been stored inside and has not seen rain or other elements and looks better than the day it left the assembly plant. The body is stock with the exception of the fiberglass front and rear bumper and hood . I still have the original front and rear bumper. The interior has the original seats and headliner, The carpet and door panels have been replaced with a perfect match. It is all in excellent shape as the photos will show. If you are looking for a car to drive around during the week and then cruise on Saturday night or take to the track on the weekend this is the car for you. The car sounds fantastic and performs as well as it sounds. The car is a real surprise to the person that you usually encounter at a local cruise in., you would not expect it to perform as well as it does. It has a 500hp small block Chevrolet 406 that has a ton of tire shredding torque with out giving up any top end horsepower. I built it as bullet proof as possible using only the best new parts possible. I invested a lot of time in selecting the best head porter in the area. He worked for John Lingenfelter and then went to Dart to assist in their head development. program. I have had it to the track 5-6 times and it ran 7.40s in the 1/8 and 11:60s at 115mph in the ¼ through the mufflers with Hoosier quick times. Listed below are some of the parts but I am sure I am leaving out many. ENGINE: Fully ported and flowed Dart Sportsman heads with bronze guides installedHigh torque starter Manley 5.7” rods Trw forged pistons Ultrydyne solid small base circle camshaft Victor Jr intake Crane roller rocker arms Holley 950 hp carb Hamburger 7-quart pan Crane .100 over push rods Holley hp fuel pump .030 400 4 bolt main block with ARP main bolts Harwood 16gal. The only reason I am selling is that I never use car and I am retiring and downsizing. If you have any questions feel free to call @ 260-402-3245 Chuck
