GREAT DEAL for VW COLLECTORS 1982 VW Scirocco Auction starting at just $600 (worth more in parts alone) I have a very cool 1982 VW Scirocco that is hard to find and in good shape for its age. This is great car for a beginner, VW collector or a commuter. I just installed the following new parts: Timing Belt Fuel Pump Fuel Filter Spark Plugs Fuids Valve Cover Gasket Oil Filter New Battery Plus a box of tune up and other new parts that I have not had the chance to install yet (Oil Pan Gasket, Water Pump, etc.) It has great compression and starts right up, but I am having a slight problem with the injector distributor which is causing it to cut off immediately. I have drained the gas tank and replaces fuel, replaced fuel pump, fuel filter and all the injectors ar ein great shape. A new injector distributor will need be installed to eliminate the problem, so I figured, I would knock the price down, so the new owner could find a good deal on it. This is a simple replacement/install, just would rather sell as is, instead of buy, and sell car for more. Otherwise the car is solid and will give you plenty of fun. NOTE: Due to need for Fuel Distributor and the obvious lack of registration/inspection - You must make arrangement to have the vehicle towed to your desired location.
