95 BMW 540i with automatic transmission. It has 119,000 miles on it and is in good working order. I'm the second owner and I've owned the car since 2003. The report shows 3 owners, because my parents transferred the car into my name last year. The car was in CA until August 2010 when I moved to Houston. No one has ever smoked in the car and I've never had any pets in the car. At my last oil change in July, I was told the brakes have more than 50% life left and the tires are in good condition. Maintenance: The transmission was rebuilt around 80,000 miles and I have not had any problems since. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filters two months ago. I've gotten regular oil changes since I purchased the car. As you can tell, the car has not had many miles put on it and most of the miles it does have are highway miles I accumulated driving from the Bay Area to Bakersfield, in California, while I was in college. The car has never been in any accidents, but it has a junk title due to a fire sprinkler accident in the showroom in Los Angeles where the car was originally purchased. The sun roof and windows were open which resulted in the inside of the car getting wet, but there were no mechanical, electronic, or interior problems that resulted. This car has never been taken apart and it starts up and runs without any problems. I passed smog in CA every year I lived there and I recently passed the Texas emissions test for the second time. Condition: The interior is in excellent condition. There leather has no tears or much wear. The door panels are all in excellent shape. All the electronics work, except for the passenger window which needs a new switch. The odometer light started to dim last week, but you can still see it with the right light and the rest of the display lights up fine.The exterior is also in excellent condition as the car has been either in a garage or covered since it was purchased. There paint is in excellent condition with no significant signs of wear. There are a couple of dings, but nothing significant. Some extra features: I installed a trailer hitch last year and it's rated up to the apartment size of U-Haul trailers. I upgraded the sound system a year ago with an HD radio and new speakers. I contemplated using my parents' account, because until this year, I've bought and sold several things with their account, but I decided I wanted to do this by myself. I know what it's like to buy a car on ebay, because my parents bought my first car on ebay 9 years ago, before they had any of the precautions they have now, and we had trouble getting that car delivered. Having said that, I know ebay has come a long was in guaranteeing people get what they purchase and I know they've done several things to prove my identity, so I hope that can provide some reassurance. After moving to Texas a year ago for med school, I've decided it's time for me to buy another car. I've enjoyed the car very much while I've had it, but I've always wanted a car with a manual transmission, so that is what I'm hoping to buy once I sell this car.
