Vehicle Detail

I bought this car in June to resell but I have been driving it everywhere and have just not listed it. If it doesn't sell I will just continue to drive it, it is so much fun and tight on the road. This 1972 Super Beetle had a new good paint, interior & engine all redone in 2008. The miles are showing 68450, do not know if original. I took the bug to one of the best bug restoration shops in the country. Look for yourself at Earl Mann Bug Shop . com and you'll understand the value in his assessment and write up on this bug. Earl himself said that he has seen a lot of bugs in the 50+ years he has been restoring vehicles and said if someone is looking to do a complete restoration (only if they feel they need to, he said he would just drive it as is) that out of 1-10 this bug is an 8. One of the cleanest best conditions he's seen. Under carriage looks immaculant, no frame, skirt or signs of damage anywhere. Earl Mann said he would be willing to tell any potential buyer that calls what he saw and provide a thumbs up on body, frame, engine & interior. Der German of Tulsa OK rebuilt the engine at a price of $1900 in January 2008, installed an upgraded cam and increased oil capacity flow and can tell you about their rebuilds if you would like to call them as well. Front end has had struts and bushings all replaced and stops straight if you stand on it and let go of the wheel. Shifts out smooth with no clutch or transmission problems. Tires are good no need to replace them. Just finished full detail on the body, interior, motor and wheels. Interior is good as you can see there is one burn on the drivers seat car does not smell of smoke not sure what hapened there. There are no bumpers, were removed to clean the style up. They are available from Earl Mann Bug Shop for about $150 for both plus mounting brackets. The front needs resurfaced and painted due to someone hitting it and straightening it out before I got it. The front does not shut with ease do to the pin not lining up but does shut. Also there is a fender crease about the size of your hand in length in the back rear fender. Noticed that I did not take a picture of the rear right do to the sun positioning but will post that asap. Or you can email me at Scott dot Orr at AA dot com and I will send to you if I dont have it up. Anything else call me and I will explain anything you want to know, Scotty Nine Seven Two Four Eight Nine Four Eight Eight Three.
