For sale I have a 1981 Mercedes Benz 300TD Turbo DIESEL Station Wagon. I purchased this car from the previous owner last winter and now it's up for sale as I decided to just sell it to someone who'll appreciate it. The pictures are of the actual car when I first bought it and since then it has been sitting inside my garage, so whatever you see as far as the body scratch/rust- its still the same nothing has changed. This wagon runs and drives out very good. The 3.0L I5 FI motor starts right up no matter how hot or cold it is. The issue with the car is that the tranny has a LITTLE push ONLY when you shift between the 2nd and 3rd gear only within the first 5 minutes. As the car warms up the tranny shifts nice and smooth through out all the gears- not sure why I never got it diagnosed but I assume it could be something simple as the problem goes away after warm up. If you look at the outside body of course due to its age it has the typical Mercedes rust spots. Looking at the inside, it looks excellent with little signs of wear or tear. I took out the original rear air suspension and put new shocks, however, you will need to put springs on it. All the books come with the car along with every receipts and paper work that was saved for a car. Over all a great running wagon. NO RESERVE HIGHEST BIDDER TAKES IT!
