I'm helping a neighbor out selling this for him, so any questions may be directed straight to him at 512 793 6816, anytime. He knows the history of the truck. Truck is being sold for parts, no title. Again talk to him about this. This truck has been sitting in the owner's yard from what he says for about eight years. The body on the truck is in great shape, though faded paint, but I didn't see one dent and no rust at all. The bed inside seemed in good shape as well. There is a 5th wheel attachment in the middle of the bed for a goose neck. The diesel was a new rebuilt engine in or around 2000. However not too long after, and you should ask him how long, the present owner says the flywheel needed to be changed, and in the process the oil line was knocked loose. He says he drove the truck a few miles, but noticed a problem and immediately pulled over. He fixed the line and added oil but said there was a lifter noise. He thinks the engine is still good, ran when he parked it; however he hasn't driven it since and he can tell you the rest of the story why. Has he says it has a strong transmission-- 5 speed auto heavy duty The odometer reads 8,084, which the owner believes was set to zero when the new engine was installed. Has duel fuel tanks. Many extra engine parts incl extra set of heads, injector pump, intake manifold, other sundry. Ask him. This is a great parts truck or if you have one needing restoration.
