Vehicle Detail

Up for grabs is my 1994 Taurus SHO 3.0 MTX with 145k miles. I had this car shipped from New Jersey 2/2008 with 122k miles. It has very little rust and It has been very reliable, I have kept up very well with the maintenance including a full 60k service and fluid changes. I am an active member of SHOforum.com and I drove this car to the nation SHO convention in Michigan 7/2010, in which I put over 4,000 miles on it in 1 week. I would not hesitate driving this car anywhere! Some history of the parts that have been replaced is as follows; 2/2008 replaced both rear brake hoses, new headlights and clear corners, A/C accumulator and line assy, power steering flush, coolant flush, oil change, and MTX fluid change with the addition of a MTX drain plug. Summer of 2008 I painted the valve covers, intake and adjusted the valves (I still have the before and after specs) I replaced the plugs and wires then but with a cheap set of wires I wasn’t too happy with, and I needed the car after that weekend so I kept the originals at this time. During 2009 I replaced the Starter in spring which went out in my driveway. Later that year I installed Eibach springs Early 2010 I installed front struts. 4/2010 I performed the full 60 minus the valve adjustment I did 2 years prior which included, Crank sensor, cam sensor, cam seals, water pump, 160 degree T-stat, Crank seal, Motorcraft plugs, Taylor performance plug wires, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, and drivebelts. I also replace rear strut rod bushings, installed Ingalls adjustable rear control arms. I painted the wheels Gunmetal and installed 225/55/16 Continental Extreme contact DW tires. All of this because the SHO convention was a couple months away. I also at the time ordered rod bearing kit with oil pan seals, SHOrt shifter and front strut rod bushings but those I have not installed yet. (I have 2 kids now so time is obsolete haha) July 2011 I had the alternator rebuilt The car runs very strong and smooth, its very tight and responsive and extremely fun to drive. If you’re local feel free to take it for a drive. The cons of a car of this age are typical and they are; 3 of 4 dash vents are broke but are still operational, HVAC unit has some cracked buttons but are still readable, and it has an intermittent airbag light which is the clock spring behind the airbag. The CD player is acting up so I disconnected it AM/FM works fine, And the worst is the A/C compressor just bit the dust 8/10/2011, its actually just the compressor clutch but still. I will repair this before vehicle pickup for additional money ($150-200 plus part) as I am an automotive technician and have all the available equipment. Good luck with the bidding, bid to win and email me with any questions. I will not take trades of any kind so don’t ask. I reserve the right to end auction at any time due to also listed locally. The car is sold AS-IS
