A real opportunity to own one of the most original, lowest mileage 928s available. 53,505 original miles, original paint, all original engine and I have the history of this car back to the original sale in Cincinnati including the original Bill of Sale, 2/20/81. It still has the original state inspection sticker from the dealer on the window. It has it's complete set of tools, belts, jack, air pump and even the two extra Bosch plugs supplied with the car the day of delivery. Original owner's manual, Warranty book, radio info and sales brochure It is the one of the most desirable 928s.......no spoilers, no rub strips and with the manual transmission. The paint is beautiful and original. It's glossy and has a beautiful patina. The paint is of course 30 years old and has small imperfections but very few and nothing that distracts from the car. The car is rust free except a small spot just on the lower sill of the right rear quarter window. This is very common to the 928. It is touched up and hardly noticable. I have removed the rear wiper because it looks like it's from an SUV. It will be included with the car, and it works. The engine runs great. The timing belt and water pump were changed less than 4,000 miles ago. I use only Royal Purple oils for the engine and gear box. The engine is strong and the 5 speed gear box is smooth. It does take a little getting used to, the throws are not Miata like. But that's all original. Alot of guys mount short throw shifters. Included is a full set of 928 custom mechanic fender covers. The interior is as nice as the pictures look. I have changed out the old Blaupunkt for a Nakamichi CD-400....quite an upgrade and it also has a beautiful Momo steering wheel. I will include the original steering wheel but I do not have the original Blaupunkt radio. The seats have no cuts or tears and are soft and supple. The carpets are likewise excellent. The instrument pod is flawless and the leather dash has no tears or cuts but it has stretched a little from the sun just under the right defroster vent. I keep it well oiled and covered with a custom dash cover during the summer. The AC is very cold, a big plus for this time of year. Everything works as it should, even the cruise control. The car has four brand new ContiSportContact 3s, front 205/55 ZR17, rear 235/50 ZR17. They are mounted on flawless 17" Porsche OEM wheels from a 2010 CaymanS. You will get the original Porsche phone dials that came on the car. This car is very well known in the 928 community. It was on display in 2009, at the 928 Owner's Club International Convention in Arlington, Texas. It makes it to most all the 928 OC meetings here in the MetroPlex. I am selling the car because I'm not driving it as much as it should be driven. Believe me these cars like to be driven.
