1977 Toyota Celica GT Liftback in Very Good Condition. This is a very straight and solid car. Runs very good and has been mechanically maintained very well its whole life. Includes a large pile of maintenance receipts dating way back. Starts right up instantly, even when it has been sitting a while, with no smoke or blow by at all. The transmission shifts very smooth and this car drives good in town or 70 mph on the highway. The brakes are excellent with pads and rotors replaced not too long ago. Also has a custom aftermarket exhaust header installed. The body on this car is very straight with only a few very minor dings here and there. All of the glass is perfect and all chrome is nice too. Could use a new paint job as the paint has lots of little scratches and scuffs here and there but still looks pretty good as is and gets a lot of comments. The only real body damage is in the back on one spot at the passenger side rear which you can see in the picture, easily fixed by a good body person. Also shown in pics is a small amount of rust behind the rear wheels which is small and minor. There is some rust through below the back hatch in the spare tire compartment also which is common due to leaky rear window seals, but this is an area that is easy to fix. The rest of the car is very solid including all of the floors and underside. The rear bumper has some minor surface rust and a small bend on the lower left and the front bumper has a small dent in the middle (but would be covered by license plate). The side trim was removed and is no longer available. The mounting holes are still present if you want to replace it or fill them in and go with no trim for a cleaner look as some people do. Very clean too in the in between places like door jams, under the hood, around the edges, etc. The interior is in good condition with exception to the front seats and parts of the dash. The top of the dash is sun cracked, the console is broken and missing some pieces where the stereo mounts and A/C button was located. This is an A/C car but the belt is missing and it needs a new compressor, and the A/C button is missing due to the broken stereo panel as mentioned. The panel below the steering wheel is broken around the fuse box area (fuse box is fine though) and is missing the fuse box door. These are all removable parts that can be replaced (or a good stereo installer could probably make the center stereo console work and look good, and add an A/C button). Other than that the dash is in good condition. The shift knob is broken but it still works. The drivers side door panel looks good but has a small amount of cracking at the center top near the window. The carpet is in pretty good condition still and looks good with no rips or tears (The carpet in the very back hatch compartment is missing though and needs replaced). The rear seats have sun damage on the top of the backrest which has been taped but needs to be reupholstered. The front seats need upholstery also and do not match. The passenger seat was replaced with a different year Celica seat and is a little bit different style but almost looks the same. They look great with the seat covers but could use some work if you want to make it into a show car. The headliner is in excellent condition and the rest of the interior panels are nice too. This is a good running car, drive it home if you want to. Starts right up and is very reliable. The Goodyear tires have decent tread left. Could use new shocks, also could use new ball joints though it drives good now, they are a little noisy when turning in a tight radius. Actual mileage is unknown but 73069 odometer reading could be actual. Sold as is but I believe there will be no disappointments in the purchase of this car.
