May of 2011 was backing out of the driveway when engine just stopped. Come to find out it was the timing belt,Husband put a new timing belt on it and a balancing belt. After my husband replaced those 2 belts the car will crank and run and sound just as good before the timing belt broke,But if your foot is not on the gas it will not hold idle and will shut off,also it will shut off if you put it in geer. Husband had someone look at it and he told him the timing was still off, Husband is not an Automotive Machanic but he thinks he is. but for the upside before this happened the car was in excellent running order, no problems with the transmission any of that stuff.Excellent on gas the only thing exterior wise is the top of the roof and the top of the hatch back lid is fading from the sun and a small rust spot on the back drivers side(smaller then a dime) but other then that the rest of the exterior of the car is in great condition paint and body wise. It has a sun roof,Fog lights,Automatic windows and doors locks,alloy rimms and a JVC cd player. Interior is in good condition over all. No tears or ripps in the interior..Backseat has a small ciggerate burn hole but not noticeable, Top of dash board has some cracking from the sun. I put a dash cover over it to stop the heat from getting to it.We have 3 other vechicles and my husband isint wanting to put anymore time into it so he said just sell it for as is.We have a clear title. Transmission is automatic with the manual shifter if you want to use it that way. Has spare tire and jack all that stuff. Tires are in fair condition. If you know anything about timing belts this would make a nice little car for someone. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I added to pics ...It has been a while sence I removed the cover so it has cracked more then what it was the last time I looked at it. In the center a small peice will actually come out which is up against the windshield.I deffinately wanted to post just to be fair not wanting to mislead anyone, also I noticed the battery is dead from the car sitting for 2 months...I just want everybody to know I will be replacing the battery.
