1970 volkswagon squareback body on a custom built frame. Fully independent suspension front and rear. Four wheel disc brakes. Chevy 350ci V-8 Doug nash 4+3 manual trans.with over drive out of a 84 corvette. Rear suspension is from a 68 corvette with a 3.7:1 posi-traction differential. Front suspension is unit bought from Jim Weimer Rod shop and has power rack and pinion and coil spring and shocks. Engine is a early 70's chevy 350 four bolt main block ."202" big valve heads with porting work. Steel forged crank,chromolly push rods,TRW forged pistons, double roller timing chain,cam specs are 234 duration @ .050 .510 lift.Compression ratio is 9.8:1.Holley 650 double pumper carb.aluminium radiator and electric fan. Engine has less than 2500 miles since being professionally built by a west coast speed shop. Edlebrock headers into 3" dual exhaust./ Flow master mufflers.Iditit tilt steering column.Full custom gauges. This car is mechanically well engineered and drives out perfect. No over heating. It is light and very fast. Needs the no rust body massaged some and a good paint job to be a real head turner.Could also make a great base for street rod.
