Hello everyone, I have here today, my beloved 1990 325is project that i've been working on for 3 years or so; been parked for at least a year giving me time to gather all the bits and pieces that i needed to make it my special one. i bought it from a young couple that were expecting a baby, but at that time it was parked for quiet some time already and needed some TLC ( alternator, tires, paint, full tune up etc'). Anyway a whole year went by before i was able to gather what i needed to finally put it on the road except for paint, got it registered and was driving it once in a while.... Making a long story short, i got it lowered about a year now. One day while i was running errands she went out on me without any warning signs or symptoms of any kind, come to find out that the timing belt was broken.... My mechanic advised me to get another engine that will never have the same timing belt problem again and i went for it. But now she became a monster and got me into a lot of trouble, cause he went and got this HUGE engine that he put in her and was from a 98 528i car with 89k mi( i was there with him ) and that's how i got into all this mess enjoying all this new found power; my old lady took the opportunity to finally get a valid excuse to make me get rid off her ( her competition so she said)...i won't be driving no time soon anyway. Would love to get all that money that i spent on it and a guy who will love to own a BEAST AT THE FRACTION OF THE PRICE.
