Vehicle Detail

AWESOME 1965 CONVERTIBLE Twilight Turquoise with White Interior, Original 289, Factory 4-Speed BEAUTIFUL DROP-TOP PONY, LOOKS, RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT Talk about an attention getter…this is one striking Mustang. It is a factory Twilight Turquoise Metallic with beautiful white interior and flawless white top. It maintains the original 289 V-8 engine and factory 4-speed transmission. This is a VERY CLEAN car and has been meticulously maintained. I purchased her in Seattle 7 years ago and she has spent the majority of her time in a heated garage. The BODY is very straight with NO RUST OR FILLER detected. The chrome is in excellent condition. The paint is a quality base coat/clear coat in very nice condition with only a few very minor scratches. All the lights and signals and wipers are perfectly operational. The INTERIOR is beautiful. It is all white with black appointments and is in near mint condition. The seats are perfect with no rips or tears. It has seat belts front and rear. The door panels are in great condition, and have the factory speakers that are operational. The carpet is in excellent condition, as are the carpeted Pony floor mats. The car has a very nice Mustang AM/FM cassette installed, as well as air conditioning, both work perfectly. All of the glass is in good shape. It has the factory remote mirror as well as the rare day/nite rearview mirror. All of the interior chrome is in excellent condition. Everything is in great working order, including the interior lights, dash lights, horn, stereo, etc. The ENGINE AND MECHANICS are original and in great condition. The engine was rebuilt around 1996 and is solid. The car fires right up on the first crank and run awesome. Drive it anywhere with confidence. I have tested it on the highway, and it did as well at 90MPH as it does at 60MPH…No shakes or shimmies like so many of the classics. This is a tight car. The transmission shifts perfectly and the clutch is strong. Under the hood, the engine still maintains the factory gold air cleaner and gold valve covers. The engine compartment is detailed nicely and is very clean. The odometer reads 56,500 but not sure if the original miles or not. The brakes operate perfectly. The car comes with detailed repair records and receipts dating back to 1982. The engine has been completely rebuilt and is documented. The CONVERTIBLE TOP is in very nice condition and looks outstanding. The rear plastic window in excellent condition. The white convertible boot is in perfect shape. No issues here. The TRUNK is very clean and has a full size spare, original trunk mat, and matching bag. Also included with the car are a clutch club security tool, and several spare hoses, belts, and various engine parts for needed replacement purposes. The underside is awesome with no rust apparent. The floors, frame rails, torque boxes, and shock towers are all clean and RUST FREE.
