Well maintained bike in R100RS registry. History known through 4 owners. Recently serviced by Rennsport Motorrad in Deland, FL. Bike has new IKON rear shocks, new rod bearings, and correct heads and valves were recently redone. Valves just adjusted and carbs synched. Bosch starter recently redone. Glass mat battery is current. All gages work even clock. Comes with original Krauser touring bags. It has Boyer electronic ignition and a Telefix front fork brace. Mufflers are Sito stainless steel and windshield is taller with touring lip. Believed to be a Belgian Police special as lowers were grey before painting. Have older photos which show this. With VIN starting 609 instead of 608 this bike was delivered to a military man in Germany. Gas tank was coated inside. Some chipping on paint and it could use painting around the gas cap. I also have the 3/4 solo seat in metallic blue that I will sell separately. Steering stabilizer changed, all bushings and bearings good. Always stored with stabil and battery tender. Alloy wheel recall was done. Not enough time to ride. Sold the 1988 and reluctantly selling this. Will assist with shipping. This was the most expensive bike sold in its day and the first with an aerodynamic fairing for the autobahn that enhanced performance.
