This Ford Contour was seized by our department and awarded to us.
We hold title in our name.
The car starts easily with a jump, runs and drives. Our experience is limited to short drives of less than 5 miles at no more than 45 miles an hour. Many people ask why our experiences with the vehicle is limited; we only drive the car from where it is seized to an impound lot and then to a third party inspection. We do not have the opportunity to drive it faster or farther.
Seized vehicles can sit for many months before we sell them.
A third party inspection of this Ford was completed. The engine, transmission, tires, and steering are rated "Good"; the exhaust system and brakes are rated "Average"; the air conditioning does not work. The condition of the carpet is rated "Average" and the rest of the interior is rated "Good". The interior should clean up nicely.
The power locks and mirrors work. This Ford has a Sony XR4800 AM/FM/Cassette stereo, although it is loose in the dashboard. This Ford is equipped with cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, courtesy lights and floor mats. This Ford has BF Goodrich Touring T/A (P195/65R14) tires, a spare tire and jack. The front right tire has a leak from its side wall as well as it being dry-rotted, cracked and off its wheel.

There are some scratches on the left fender and the back bumper is dented. The hood is out of alignment and, although it latches, it does not close completely. The paint on the windshield trim is peeling. Please inspect the pictures of this car for more information.
