Please contact me in advance of bidding if you have a Suzuki Samurai you wish to use as a trade. Rare, vintage 1968 custom built Volkswagen convertible pre-runner -- Street Legal! Ready to go!!! Heavy duty for rocks, bumps, ditches and rough terrain. Phoenix built car -- no rust. 1835 cc engine with 2 dual port Dellorto carbs, just cleaned. New Bosch plugs and wires. Headers with Supertrapp muffler. 26 gallon fuel cell!! Neal hydraulic brake and clutch. Oil cooler. Headlights, floodlights and pencil lights on front. Floodlights on rear. (Floodlights need separate relay installed in order to work.) Complete instrumentation (although fuel gauge is not working). 4 new Goodyear T/A tires. Back are mud terrain, and front are Traction T/As. 3 off-road Mickey Thompsons. Six 2-piece, riveted aluminum wheels. 2 steel rims. Car carries front and rear spares (one under hood and one in rear). New drums, brakes and bearings on rear. New brake shoes for the front, to be installed when needed. Bus transaxle with new CV joints and boots. 6 Fox racing shocks. IRS rear end! All tubular frame with 2 roll bars. Full length aluminum and steel pan. 4-point harness and bucket racing seats. Adjustable Oh Sh*t! Bar. Decent convertible top and cover. Neal hydraulic brake and clutch. Neal single lever rear brake control. Rack and pinion steering. Tow bar for 2 inch ball (see last picture).
